God has blessed Galilee with a loving congregation guided by
committed church leaders and staff. Those staff members include:
Pastor Andy Mooren
Pastor Andy moved to Saranac with his family in August 2005 when he became the senior pastor of Galilee Baptist Church. Andy attended Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa, and received his Master of Divinity degree from Northwest Baptist Seminary in Tacoma, Washington in 1984. It was in Tacoma that he met his wife Kathi, and they were married in 1987. After many years of actively serving the Lord in church leadership, they both felt the Lord calling them into full-time Christian ministry. Andy served for a short time as Associate Pastor of Christian Education at Temple Baptist Church in Tacoma. Then in 1998, he was called to pastor Walsh Baptist Church in southeast Colorado, where he served until 2005 when God directed them here to Galilee. They continue to love serving Christ here with the wonderful people of Galilee.
Pastor Josh Andrews
Pastor Josh has served as Youth Pastor at Galilee since 2010 but has been working with youth for over 20 years. He places a high value on Christian education and has a degree in Youth Ministry and Bible from Cornerstone University and a Master of Divinity from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Pastor Josh has been married to his wife, Laura, since 1995. They have no children of their own but consider themselves privileged to work with the families of Galilee. In their free time, Pastor Josh enjoys bicycling and woodworking, while Laura delights in handcrafting glass and copper jewelry. They would love to assist you in pursuing a Christ-centered life for your entire family.
Pastor Emeritus James Frank
Pastor Frank retired in 2004 after serving for over 40 years as senior pastor of Galilee Baptist Church. He was saved in 1946 and called to the ministry in 1958. He received his education from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, and Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary. Though retired, Pastor Frank keeps busy in teaching, preaching, and occasional interim ministries to churches in the area.
